Popup Chinese Firefox Extension Description
This plugin contains a Chinese-English dictionary with close to 200,000 entries. Once you install it and active it, you can put your mouse over any Chinese word/character on any webpage and get a helpful popup showing you the definition for the word/character in question, along with its pinyin pronunciation.
Unlike other reference tools, this is designed for translators and other bilingual professionals. You can easily add and edit dictionary entries and share them with others. If you have questions or need help, please visit us at http://popupchinese.com.
Additional Features:
- EASY: activate the plugin using our easy on/off toggle hotkey (Cntl+Shift+A). Or through the right-click menu.
- READ/WRITE: click on any word to “freeze” the popup and enter editing mode. Then click on any definition to edit it. All of your changes will be saved. Just highlight new words and a popu will appear asking for you the definition.
- FLEXIBLE: press “D” when the popup is open to switch the display from simplified to traditional Chinese.
